The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 6 AM to 4 PM CST Saturday. * Winds...Northwest at 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. * Timing...of the strongest winds will be from around dawn on Saturday morning through early afternoon. * Impacts...include strong and sudden wind gusts and potential for hazardous travel for high profile vehicles due to cross- winds on east-west oriented roads and highways. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A wind advisory means that sustained winds of at least 30 mph and/or wind gusts over 45 mph are expected.
