    Updated:

The Tulsa International Airport has a wide range of rental car choices. Travelers looking for Tulsa car rentals at the airport will find there are nine companies offering services.

To get to the rental car counters, travelers should follow airport signs to the baggage claim area, and then look for airport ground transportation signs. Walk-up renters (those who aren't airport travelers) should follow airport signs to short term parking, go into the baggage claim area, and then follow airport ground transportation signs.

Signs are also posted directing drivers to car rental returns.

The airport is located at 7777 E. Apache St. in Tulsa, about a 10-minute drive from downtown. In addition to Tulsa car rentals, airport transportation options include taxis, ride-sharing services and buses.

    Taxis
Taxis pick up passengers outside the baggage claim area. There's a minimum charge of $10. The estimated fare to downtown Tulsa for one person with one piece of luggage is $20. For an airport taxi fare guide, click here.

    Ride-sharing services
Drivers for ride-sharing services Lyft and Uber pick up passengers at two locations on the Arrivals Roadway: station 1 is on Concourse A, in front of Delta baggage claim, and station 2 is on Concourse B, in front of United baggage claim. There are temporary signs indicating the two areas' locations.

    Buses
Tulsa Transit buses pick up passengers outside of baggage claim. Travelers can take the Route 203 bus to either the Downtown Station or the Midtown Station, and then take a connecting bus to their destination. The regular bus fare is $1.75. Some area hotels offer free shuttles to and from the airport. For additional bus and shuttle information, click here.
