Day three of the NFL Draft saw three Sooners get picked Saturday.
The Patriots picked running back Rhamondre Stevenson. The Seahawks drafted cornerback Tre Brown -- a Tulsa Union High School alum -- and the Steelers picked cornerback Tre Norwood. Stevenson was the No. 120 overall selection (fourth round), Brown No. 137 (fourth round), and Norwood No. 245 (seventh round).
The trio upped the number of OU draft picks in the four-year Lincoln Riley head coaching era to 21, and the Sooners extended their streak of NFL Drafts with at least four players selected to a nation-leading 14. Center Creed Humphrey -- taken in the second round by Kansas City -- and defensive end Ronnie Perkins -- taken in the third round by the Patriots -- were drafted Friday. The Sooners’ five selections tied with Texas for most among Big 12 programs.
