• Point guard Trae Young commits to Sooners

    NORMAN, Okla. - Norman North point guard Trae Young announced his commitment to the University of Oklahoma over Kansas and Oklahoma State Thursday.

    Young is a five-star recruit, and is averaging more then 43 points per game this season for Norman North High School. 

    He thanked all the coaches who recruited him during this process, including Brad Underwood and Bill Self. 

    "This is just home," Young said. "This has always been home to me."

    Young was a ball boy for the Sooners growing up, and is happy to have his career come full circle.
