One season in Stillwater and done. That’s the story for OSU offensive coordinator Sean Gleeson.

FOX23 confirmed with a source the multiple reports that Gleeson is leaving the Cowboys to take the offensive coordinator job at Rutgers.

Mike Gundy hired Gleeson away from Princeton in late January of last year. It was widely considered a good hire of an up-and-coming coach with a good offensive mind, but the Oklahoma State offense didn’t quite match its normally high standard, especially late in the season after injuries struck.

A couple of the top candidates to replace Gleeson are long-time assistant Kasey Dunn and former OSU offensive coordinator Todd Monken. Monken is still currently employed by the Cleveland Browns despite the team firing its head coach.
