No Bedlam baseball in Tulsa, OKC

A nearly three decade run of Bedlam baseball games being played in Tulsa is coming to an end. At least for the next two years, all the Bedlam games will be played on the OSU and OU campuses.

Oklahoma State is opening a brand new, state-of-the-art stadium next season, and OU is renovating its ballpark.

An OSU official told FOX23 Wednesday they always enjoyed playing in Tulsa and at ONEOK Field, but, if you’re spending the money to build a new stadium, it makes sense to play your premier rival there.

After the next two seasons, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State could reevaluate their decision, and it is possible Tulsa and Oklahoma City could see Bedlam baseball games sometime in the future.

For the 2020 season, OU and OSU will play a non-conference game on March 31 in Norman then a conference game in Norman on Friday, April 17. Bedlam will move to Stillwater and the new stadium after that. Those games will be Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19.
