For the second consecutive year in the Class 6AI quarterfinals, Darius Boone Jr.’s power running and a dominating Union defense were too much for Edmond Santa Fe.

Boone had 36 carries for 228 yards and three touchdowns while the third-ranked Redskins allowed only 154 yards in a 31-6 victory over the No. 8 Wolves on Friday night at Union-Tuttle Stadium.

Union (9-2) advances to play No. 2 Jenks (10-1) in the semifinals next weekend on a date and site to be announced Saturday by the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association.
