TULSA, Okla. - Holland Hall graduate Jeremy Hays sang the National Anthem before his alma mater’s home football opener Friday night against Metro Christian.

Hays’ acting credits include an appearance last year on television’s “The Blacklist,” which often starts its episodes with a bang.

Metro Christian’s Ryan Johnson also opened Friday’s game that way as he raced 80 yards on the first play from scrimmage. That set the tone for the ninth-ranked Patriots’ 37-14 victory over the No. 5 Dutch in a Class 2A showdown at Hardesty Field.
