With Ian Corwin throwing strikes to D.J. Wagoner, and the Jenks defense dominating, anyone who assumed this wasn’t Jenks’ year may have to rethink their theory.

Corwin and Wagoner combined for 184 yards and two touchdowns on five completions in the first half as No. 4 Jenks rolled past visiting Edmond Memorial 52-7 Friday night in District 6AI-1 play at Allan Trimble Stadium.

Corwin completed 9-of-13 passes for 282 yards for three touchdowns as the Trojans led 38-0 before halftime. Corwin finished with 378 yards and four touchdowns on 13-of-19 completions, while Wagoner had seven catches for three touchdowns and a career-high 218 yards.
