    • Dub Maddox is settling in as the new head football coach at Victory Christian with spring football practices going on this week
    • Maddox left Jenks, where he was an assistant under legendary Trojans head coach Allan Trimble for 13 seasons (including as the offensive coordinator), to take over the Conquerors program
    • After Trimble retired from Jenks in April, Maddox believed he was a valid candidate to become the Trojans next head coach, but Jenks ended up hiring defensive coordinator Keith Riggs to take over
    • Maddox recently published a football book, 'Adapt or Die,' which was the #1 bestseller on Amazon in the football category in the first week it went on sale
    • Now Maddox hopes to lead Victory to its first ever state title in 2A
