- The Bixby Spartans emerged from the COVID-19 quarantine in good shape, running back Braylin Presley said Friday. “I’m seeing a lot of competition,” Presley said. “I’m seeing a lot of heart. We don’t give up, even on the easy plays. We go out there and we’re competing at a high level.”
- Bixby played an intra-squad 7-on-7 football tournament Friday.
- The team is eyeing its second championship three-peat under head coach Loren Montgomery.
- Montgomery said it’ll be a challenge to recreate the success of 2019′s undefeated season. “We don’t have a lot of returning starters coming back,” Montgomery said. “But it’s a good group of kids, that really likes to work hard.”
