A woman is dead after she was hit by a truck while riding a skateboard Saturday evening near Admiral and Harvard.
Police said the 21-year-old woman was westbound in the curb lane of Admiral around 5:30 p.m. A driver hit her and then fled.
The woman was taken to the hospital and was put on life support before she died Tuesday.
Officials described the vehicle as a white mid-1990s single-cab, long-bed truck with a red or maroon front quarter panel. It could possibly have a chain for a tailgate.
