SAPULPA, Okla. — A Green Country woman is pleading with drivers to be more careful after being involved in a car wreck at the end of January.
The woman, who did not want to be identified, uses an electric wheelchair and was crossing the intersection of Taft and Mission in Sapulpa when she and a car collided.
The woman suffered a broken leg, a broken nose and a black eye.
Police said the driver of the car stayed on the scene and was not cited for any traffic violations.
The woman said she feels like she’s gotten a second lease on life after the accident. She felt like her guardian angels helped her through.
She’s asking people to pay closer attention when driving and to watch out for pedestrians and people in wheelchairs to help prevent another accident.
