Vinita, OK - Craig County Commissioners are asking people to be mindful of the former county courthouse this summer.

The building is crumbling, with people reporting bricks and other pieces falling from the vacant building.

The building sits right next to the City of Vinita splash pad.

Parents say they're concerned their kids will get hurt playing near the building and keep a close eye on them when they're playing.

The building is in the process of getting demolished, but commissioners want people to stay away from the building before someone gets hurt.

The City of Vinita recently approved a new iron fence to put around the splash pad.
