WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Senate Committee on Environmental and Public Works will hold a hearing Wednesday on an Oklahoma man slated to head the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Attorney General Scott Pruitt was nominated by President-elect Donald Trump to head the agency.
Pruitt is a longtime EPA critic, known for suing the agency over the President Obama's Clean Power Plan.
The hearing is set to start at 9 a.m. Central Time.
