TULSA, Okla. — Two people are recovering after a shooting in north Tulsa late Tuesday night.
Tulsa police say they had officers patrolling the area near Admiral and Gary Avenue around 11 p.m. when they heard two people yelling for help.
Those two people told police they were walking from a nearby QuikTrip when a truck stopped nearby.
A man and woman got out of the truck and the man took out a handgun and fired it at the two victims multiple times.
FOX23 originally reported details released by the Tulsa Police Department Wednesday morning. Police now say they don't know if those details are true and want to redact the information.
They drove off in the truck before the victims could flag down police.
Officers say they found twelve 9 millimeter cartridge casings at the scene.
