Langston University released the following statement Thursday morning:

"The Langston University Police Department responded to a report of shots being fired early this morning on the Langston campus. At this time, we understand that two individuals were shot, one student and one non-student guest. The suspects fled the scene and are not believed to be in the area at this time. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation responded and is assisting with the investigation. If anyone has any information regarding this crime, please contact the LUPD or OSBI immediately." - Langston University
