• Former Turley minister sentenced to more than four years in prison on federal child porn charges

    TULSA, Okla. - Quick facts:

     

    • Monday, a federal judge sentenced Ronald Robinson, 62, of Tulsa to 57 months in prison on child porn charges.
    • The judge also sentenced Robinson to 10 years of supervised release following his release from prison. 
    • This comes after agents with the United States Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Phoenix, Arizona, conducted an undercover operation in an internet chatroom in 2015.
    • Agents say they observed Robinson, a minister in Turley, and others watching child pornography.
    • They say Robinson made comments in the chatroom about raping a child and responded to a comment about killing a child after sexual abuse. 
    • Agents reportedly went through Robinson’s chat logs and found that he’d discussed raping, torturing, and abusing children.
