TULSA, Okla. — After years of renovations, Tulsa’s Church Studio is set to open March 1, exactly 50 years since musician Leon Russell purchased the property.
The Church Studio said in a Facebook post, in honor of its 50-year anniversary this year, the Church Studio is once again operating as a recording studio and eventually open an audio engineering school.
It will operate as a museum for the public as well. The Church Studio is offering $5 tours of the newly finished space from March 1 to March 5.
FOX23 Morning Anchor Ron Terrell got an inside look during the 5-year renovation process.
The Church Studio, near 3rd and Trenton in midtown, is on the National Register of Historic Places
