• Tulsa students join national gun violence walkout

    TULSA, Okla. - Quick Facts:

    • At 10 a.m., local students will walk out of their classrooms for 17 minutes
    • Nathan Hale High School, Collinsville High School, the Broken Arrow Freshman Academy, and the TCC Southeast campus are all taking part.
    • The walkout is in honor of the 17 victims in the Parkland, Florida shooting exactly a month ago
    • More than 3,000 walkouts planned nationwide
