• Tulsa store offers free canvas portraits of fallen military service members

    TULSA, Okla. - Quick facts:

    • A local postal store is giving away free portraits of fallen military service members, firefighters and law enforcement officers.
    • Postal Annex at 71st and Sheridan is printing the 16x20 portraits and putting them on canvas.
    • The portraits are designed to last 100 years, and the store owner says they are offering them indefinitely, though there is a limit of one portrait per family.
    • The store is also offering discounts for family members of active-duty service members for the portraits.
    • Those who want to submit need to email a request to pa2001@postalannex.com and include the following:
      • Soldier’s name – both first and last
      • Soldier’s rank and branch of service
      • Date of loss and location of loss (country and province)
      • Family member making request (relationship)
      • Contact information of family member making request
