Tulsa Public Schools announces plan to roll back mask expectations

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Public Schools (TPS) Superintendent Dr. Deborah Gist announced in an email to parents that TPS would roll back mask expectations due to a county-wide decrease of COVID-19 cases.

Gist explained that after TPS upcoming board meeting Monday, Nov. 15, a more concrete timeline of the rollbacks would be available for students and parents.

Additionally, TPS is working with local health partners to begin providing COVID-19 vaccination clinics for children ages five to 11-years-old. They announced that they continue to host clinics to provide COVID-19 vaccines for children at least 12-years-old as well.
