Tulsa police: Man breaks into home and sexually assaults two children

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police arrested a man Friday they say broke into a home and sexually assaulted two children.

Police responded to a call about a man breaking into a home near I-244 and West 23rd Street around 8 a.m.

Police say the caller's husband chased the man -- who was "wearing only women's undergarments" -- out of their home before officers responded.

Officers say they found 35-year-old Mark Twardokus nearby and arrested him.

Investigators say Twardokus sexually assaulted the two children -- ages 4 and 6 -- inside the home before he was chased out.

Twardokus is facing charges for 1st Degree Burglary, 2 counts Sexual Abuse of a Minor Under 12 Years Old, and Indecent Exposure.
