• Woman identified after body found in midtown Tulsa dumpster


    TULSA, Okla. - Quick Facts:

    • Tulsa police are on the scene near Third and Zunis after a body was found by employees around 8 a.m. Tuesday
    • Investigators say a possibly homeless woman was likely attacked in front the Las Americas store
    • She was later identified as Amy Robertson, 43
    • They think her attackers dragged her to a dumpster
    • Police named Gumercindo Jurado, also known as "Monkey," as a person of interest after some people said he and Robertson had regular physical altercations

    • He was brought into custody Tuesday afternoon after he was found near Admiral and Utica
    • Police say Jurado denies having anything to do with the woman's death
    • They say they do not have enough evidence to arrest Jurado
    • Investigators say they did not find any bullet wounds or similar wounds on the body, but the woman appeared badly beaten
