Tulsa Police investigate an armed robbery

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police are investigating an armed robbery at a Dollar General on North Peoria Ave. Saturday afternoon.

The suspect came into the store and showed gun to the cashier. He told the employee to put the money from the register in the bag.

After the employee put the money in the bag, the suspect ran out of the store.

Video from the Dollar General showed the suspend running north on Peoria Ave after he left the store.

Police said that the gun looked to be a semi-automatic pistol. No injuries were reported during the robbery.

The suspect looked to be a 20-year-old man in dark clothing and a black hoodie.
