TULSA, Okla. — Some not so savvy thieves found themselves in an undesirable situation Saturday night.
Police officers said they saw a vehicle parked in the fire lane at a Walmart at 207 S. Memorial Drive Saturday and found out the vehicle was reported stolen.
Then the driver, who police identified as Andrew Melson, then moved the car to a parking space designated for police, according to a Tulsa Police Department press release.
Officers then took Melson and a passenger who police identified as Morgan Rauser into custody, police said.
Rauser, who first gave police a false name, also had fentanyl and was also booked on drug and fraud charges, police said.
