Tulsa firefighters rescue kitten from storm drain

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa firefighters rescued a six-week-old kitten from a storm drain Monday night.

The cat fell into the drain near East 56th Street and South 89th East Avenue and the rescue was caught on camera by A&E’s “Live Rescue” show.

Neighbor Athena Mattingly told FOX23 she first heard a cat meowing on Saturday but didn’t realize it came from the storm drain. When she heard it again on Monday she investigated and reached out to firefighters when she found the cat.
