• Tulsa Deputy assaulted after finding meth in tent

    TULSA, Okla. - Quick Facts:

    • Deputies on foot patrol near the Tulsa Levee found a tent with a meth lab around 7 p.m. Wednesday
    • They tried to arrest two men: James Bowman, 43, and Curtis Barr, 52
    • Barr allegedly ran and had to be Tased; deputies say he started hitting deputies and reaching for their guns
    • Deputies warned civilians about going to the levee for recreation
    • Both went to jail on complaints of manufacturing drugs
    • Barr faces additional complaints of assaulting an officer and resisting arrest
