• Tulsa County Sheriff's Office to help host North Tulsa Back 2 School Extravaganza

    TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office is partnering with the North Tulsa Economic Development Initiative to host the annual North Tulsa Back 2 School Extravaganza.

    It will take place August 17 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 at McLain High School.

    The event will promote safe learning environments, community support for education, connecting schools with families and the community and encouraging parental involvement in children's education.

    Co-sponsors include Tulsa Public Schools, the Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation, Tulsa Educare and Pine Premier Child Care.
