TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa Club building is undergoing renovations to be a hotel in 2019.

The historic 11 story building is at 5th and Cincinnati in downtown Tulsa. Originally built in 1927 and designed by legendary architect Bruce Goff.

At the time it opened the first five floors were businesses  and organizations while the top six floors were the Tulsa Club. The club had dormitories, gymnasiums and a roof top garden.

The building is known for elaborate Art Deco design. The building sat empty for many years after the Tulsa Club closed.

FOX23 went inside the building ahead of their renovations.
