    TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa will celebrate 918 Day on Sept. 18 with a variety of free activities and discounts at participating businesses.

    918 Day is an "annual event celebrating Tulsa's diversity, growth, and multiculturalism while strengthening social cohesion across all communities."

    Leading up to 918 Day, the city hosted a scavenger hunt on Sept. 15. It was organized by the Mayor's Officer of Resilience and Equity.

    Teams of four people were given clues to locations throughout the Tulsa. Some of the sites offered surprises and local food. Mayor G.T. Bynum will announce the winner on 918 Day. The grand prize includes a bag of "Tulsa Treasures" and lunch with Bynum and Chief Resilience Officer DeVon Douglass.

    On 918 Day, Bynum is attempting a "24-hour tour of Tulsa" that began at midnight Sept. 18. He'll travel to various Tulsa destinations each hour and document the experience on his Facebook and Twitter pages.

    Tulsa Public Schools is offering a themed art contest to high school students, asking them to design a "What Does Your Tulsa Look Like" poster. The winners will be announced Sept. 18.

    The BOK Center is offering a ticket discount for the Oklahoma City Thunder preseason game they are hosting:

    The University of Tulsa athletic department is offering an online flash sale to the Tulsa-USF football game for all east side tickets. All available seats on the east side of H.A. Chapman Stadium will be priced at $9.18 during this time frame.
