WATCH: Stolen dog reunites with owner in heartwarming viral video

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A heartwarming viral video captured a tearful reunion between a stolen dog and her owner this week in Sacramento, California.

According to KCRA, Sacramento police took to Facebook on Wednesday to share the 50-second clip, which shows a relieved woman embracing her happy pet after three days apart.

“This sweet girl Rubi Rose was reported stolen three days ago after she was stolen out of her own front yard in south Sacramento,” the department captioned the video. “SPD Detective Loriaux was on the case and began investigating. Today Detectives Loriaux and Rodarte located the suspect’s car with the suspect and Rubi Rose inside! The detectives placed the suspect into custody for theft-related charges, and most importantly, Rubi was reunited with her mom!!”
