KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A Tennessee fire captain is facing multiple charges after authorities said he sexually assaulted a child.
According to the Knoxville News Sentinel and WVLT, Knoxville Fire Department Capt. William Scott Warwick, 56, was indicted on three counts each of sexual contact with a child and aggravated sexual battery in connection with three incidents that occurred from August through October.
A grand jury presentment, which was returned Wednesday, said Warwick groped the victim, who is younger than 13 years old, through the clothes during those incidents, the news outlets reported.
