Police officer responding to complaint buys all flowers from street vendor

ORLANDO, Fla. — A police officer responding to a complaint about a woman who was selling bouquets on the side of the road in Orlando decided to buy all the woman’s flowers rather than writing her a citation, according to WFTV.

The incident, which happened just before Valentine’s Day, was caught on camera by a TikTok user and posted online. It has since gained more than 35,000 likes on the video sharing site.

In the clip, the officer, identified by the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 25 as Officer James Wilson, can be seen counting out bills next to a woman in a floral shirt.

“Here you go,” Wilson can be heard saying as he hands the woman the cash. “What you have to do is you have to help me take them over to my car, though.”

Social media users praised Wilson for his decision.

“I’m in tears bro,” one TikTok user wrote in response to the video. “That’s what we need in this damn world, kindness from all of us.”
