PORTLAND, Ore. — At least four people are hurt after gunfire erupted in Portland, Oregon, prompting heavy police activity at an area hospital, multiple news outlets are reporting.

According to KOIN and KATU, Portland police learned of the incident about 10:30 p.m. local time after four people arrived at Legacy Emanuel Hospital with gunshot wounds. Police believe the victims were hurt in an apparent gang-related shooting on Swan Island, KOIN reported.
Two of the victims were later transferred to Oregon Health & Science University Hospital, according to KOIN. Authorities have not yet released the victims’ identities or conditions, the news outlet reported.
After the shooting, several people, including at least 20 officers, arrived at the hospital, KOIN reported. Some of the officers sped off to another scene about 11 p.m., according to KATU.
