NEW YORK — A New York man was arrested Thursday after he called a medical center to ask if they had found his missing cocaine, investigators said.
Nassau County police said Jose Espinosa, 40, went to the facility Thursday morning and realized he had forgotten his package of cocaine there when he returned home, WNYW reported.
He called the facility and described the package. An employee found it and called police.
Espinosa was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, WNYW reported.
