NEW CAMBRIA, Mo. — Nobody got hurt, but the chicken sure got overcooked.
A truck carrying 42,000 pounds of raw chicken caught fire on a Missouri highway early Friday, authorities said.
According to a tweet from Troop B of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the truck was traveling westbound on U.S. 36 when it caught fire. The driver was not injured, troopers said.
“The truck was loaded with about 42,000 pounds of raw chicken,” the highway patrol tweeted. “It’s now well done.”
