Hospitals dress babies born on leap day in frog outfits

Hospitals celebrated leaplings, the babies born on leap day, in adorable fashion: adorning newborns heads with knitted frog hats.

The chances are slim, about 1 in 1,461, of being born on a leap day, which only occur every four years.

To celebrate, babies born at St. Mary’s Hospital in St. Louis gave the babies frog hats and special blankets.

Hospitals in Texas and Pennsylvania also dressed up leaplings born there in the past.
