Former Bachelor host Chris Harrison will soon be a married man.
The television personality announced his engagement to his girlfriend of three years, Lauren Zima, Us Weekly reported.
Harrison popped the question to Zima, an Entertainment Tonight correspondent, over the weekend.
The couple shared the news on social media Monday, E! News reported.
Harrison and Zima made their romance official on the red carpet in January 2019, E! reported.
Earlier this year, Harrison left his 19-year-stint as the host of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” after making comments during an interview with former contestant Rachel Lindsay.
During the interview, he defended Rachael Kirkconnell’s attendance at a plantation-themed party. Kirkconnell also had liked Confederate flag-related TikTok videos, USA Today reported. He later apologized, but still left the show. Kirkconnell also apologized for her “offensive and racist” actions and won the season staring Matt James, “The Bachelor’s” first Black male lead.
He also has hosted other events like the Miss America pageant, USA Today reported.
This will be the second marriage for both Harrison and Zima, TMZ reported.
