Alabama man accused of human trafficking, possession of child pornography

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. — An Alabama man is accused of human trafficking, possession of child pornography and incest, authorities said.

Grady Paul Gaston, 60, of Huntsville, was arrested Thursday in Madison County and charged with 75 counts that included 60 counts of child pornography, human trafficking, incest, first-degree rape, bribing a witness and possession of drug paraphernalia, WHNT reported.

Gaston was being held in the Limestone County Jail. Bail was set at $256,000, WAAY reported.

Gaston, a defense contractor, had been wanted in Limestone County after details about a sex case were revealed in court during August 2020 that involved Grady, WAFF reported.

Madison County sheriff’s investigators were able to locate Gaston in Huntsville and arrest him without incident, WHNT reported.

“These individuals are truly the worst of the worst in society,” Limestone County Sheriff Kevin Turner said in a statement. “I can promise you, we will not stop targeting human trafficking until we put a stop to this despicable trade in Madison County as well as surrounding counties around our state. While I am the sheriff, my department will strive to protect our citizens, especially those that need us most, our children.”
