SOUTH YORKSHIRE, England — A man’s Ferrari worth $260,000 was completely destroyed in a crash after owning the Italian sports car for only an hour.
The man lost control of the high-end car while driving on a wet road in South Yorkshire Thursday afternoon, according to South Yorkshire police.

The Ferrari went airborne, landed about 165 feet down a bank, and came to a rest in a field then caught fire. Firefighters were called to extinguish the flames, the BBC reports.
The driver suffered minor cuts and bruises. He told officials he bought the car an hour earlier from the dealership.
