Rescuers find dog with cheese ball container stuck on its head in Tulsa

Dog with cheese ball container on its head found safe

TULSA, Okla. — UPDATE:

  • Animal resuers found the dog safe Saturday morning.
  • Oklahoma Animal Alliance says they were getting worried because he hadn't been spotted in a few days, then finally Saturday, two people reported seeing him in north Tulsa.
  • A crew went out to look for him and finally got him.
  • They removed the cheese ball container from his head.
  • They say he is dehydrated and hungry but doing very well.

Oklahoma Alliance for Animals said the dog was located and the jar was removed from around its head. OAA says the dog is now at the Animal Emergency Center.

According to the post, the dog has been spotted in north Tulsa near Pine and Rosedale.

OAA is asking anyone who sees the dog to call 918-742-3700 or 918-625-8188.
