TikTok star known for Fleetwood Mac skateboarding video spotted in Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — Nathan Apodaca, better known as doggface208, is showing Tulsa off to his millions of social media followers, newly gained after a viral video in 2020.

Apodaca, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, went viral with a TikTok video he filmed in October 2020. His car had broken down, so he hopped on his skateboard, grabbed his cranberry juice and threw on Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” to get to work.

Ocean Spray even picked up on the video surprising Apocada with a new truck filled with bottles of cranberry juice, his choice drink in the TikTok.

The fallout continued, even benefiting Fleetwood Mac. The renewed attention for the song sent “Dreams” back to the Top 10 on Billboard’s streaming song chart. Mind you the song hadn’t been on the Billboard chart since 1977.

Mick Fleetwood posted his own remake of the video as well.

A whirlwind of events, for sure, but all this leading Apodaca to Tulsa. The TikTok star is being featured on the Hulu show shot in Oklahoma, “Reservation Dogs”.

Apodaca has posted plenty of videos of his time in Tulsa. He can be seen walking past the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, dancing outside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and of course skateboarding through downtown.

Greenwood store Silhouette Sneakers snapped a pic after Apodaca bought a pair of shoes, posting “Who else went hard on Ocean Spray in 2020 thanks to @doggface208? We’re happy to see his success and even happier to meet the legend in person 🙏🏾”
