Three Nebraska residents die in Oklahoma plane crash

GRANT COUNTY, Okla. — An Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) report said a plane crash killed three people on Thursday in Grant County.

William Lauber, 59, and Christine Lauber, 58, of Milford, Neb. and Ragan Milford, 21, of Lincoln, Neb. were all dead at the scene of the crash.

The report said around 4:30 p.m., about nine miles southwest of Pond Creek, a multi-engine plane flown by William was seen falling from the sky and hit the ground.

OHP was assisted by several agencies including the Pond Creek Fire Department, Pond Creek Police Department, Grant County Sheriff’s Office and Miller EMS.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
