• Teen shot in the head, killed in west Tulsa

    TULSA, Okla. - February 6, 2019 UPDATE: Stephen Jastrzemski pled guilty in a deal that is expected to get him 10 years in prison.

    Quick Facts:

    • Police are investigating a shooting in west Tulsa near 49th West Avenue and Charles Page Boulevard.
    • Tulsa police told FOX23 they responded to the shooting at a home around 11 p.m. Sunday.
    • Officers found 17-year-old Kackarott Perkins with a gunshot wound to the head being treated by emergency responders.
    • Perkins died the following week.
    • Police arrested 21-year-old Stephen Jastrzemski after interviewing him at the station.
    • Officers said Jastrzemski handed the Perkins the gun and it went off during the exchange.
    • Jastrzemski is being held in connection to assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm on felony probation.
