• Strong winds spell trouble for Green Country truck drivers

    TULSA, Okla. - Truck drivers in Green Country said Tuesday winds blew them around on the road.

    One driver said that the wind affected him despite his 80,000-pound load.

    Another driver said he was only able to go 55 miles per hour in a 70 mile an hour zone with his load of 45,000 pounds on account of the wind.

    The wind caused trouble for many in Green Country, reaching speeds over 50 miles per hour in places.
