Storm knocks out power in Collinsville

COLLINSVILLE, Okla. — Quick Facts:

Severe weather knocked out power to more than 100 people in Collinsville Thursday night.

Officials told FOX23 that a strong storm only lasted about three minutes but still managed to knock down powerlines and tree limbs.

Residents who lost power said their home started to heat up pretty quickly and they are looking for way to stay cool.

FOX23’s Katie Higgins is in Collinsville working to determine when power will be restored.
