• Statewide teacher walkout affects Oklahoma school schedules

    TULSA, Okla. - A statewide teacher walkout affected class schedules for area schools.

    FOX23 has a look at what changes district officials say you can expect:

     

    Bartlesville Public Schools

    • Elementary and middle school students will make up missed school days on May 25, 29 and 30.
    • High school students will make up missed classes May 29-31.

    Berryhill Public Schools

    • School is back in session from April 17.
    • The last day of school is May 21.
    • Schools will run from 8 a.m. to 3:02 p.m.

    Broken Arrow Public Schools

    • School is back in session from April 16.
    • The last day of school is May 30.
    • Pre-K will run from 8 a.m. to 3:05 p.m.
    • Elementary school will run 8:55 a.m. to 4:10 p.m.
    • Middle school will run from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
    • High school and BAFA will run 7:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
    • The Options Academy will run from 7:40 a.m. to 2:32 p.m.
    • Late-start Wednesdays have been suspended for the year.
    • Breakfast and bus route times will move up 15 minutes.

    Catoosa Public Schools

    • School is back in session from April 16.
    • Students will attend school on three Fridays to make up the time: 4/20, 5/4, and 5/18, as well as the week of May 21-25

    Claremore Public Schools

    • School is back in session from April 16.
    • The last day of school is May 25.
    • Junior and high school students will begin class at 8:15 a.m. and end at 4 p.m.
    • Elementary school classes will begin at 7:45 a.m. and dismiss at 3:15 p.m.
    • Afternoon bus routes will run 30 minutes later.

    Coweta Public Schools

    • School is back in session from April 16.
    • The last day of school is May 25.
    • Schools will add 10 minutes to the beginning and end of each day of class.

    Jenks Public Schools

    • The last day of school will be June 4.
    • The school day will be 15 minutes longer starting April 23.
    • It will also start 15 minutes earlier.

    Mannford Public Schools

    • School is back in session from April 13.
    • The last day of school is May 24.

    Owasso Public Schools

    • School is back in session from April 16.
    • The last day of school is June 1.
    • Schools will begin 20 minutes earlier and end 30 minutes later.
    • Bus pick-up times will be 20 minutes earlier.
    • Tulsa Tech class times will not be affected.
    • Officials will notify families of pre-K students regarding pick-up and drop-off times.

    Pawhuska Public Schools

    • School is back in session from April 16.
    • Indian Camp will run from 8:15 a.m. to 4:20 p.m.
    • Elementary, junior high and high school students will have class from 8:05 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    • Bus routes will retain the same pick-up times, and afternoon routes will move one hour later.

    Sand Springs Public Schools

    • School is back in session from April 16.
    • The last day of school is May 25.
    • Every school is extending the end of class by 15 minutes.
    • Start times will not change.

    Sapulpa Public Schools

    • PLC Mondays are suspended beginning April 23, so students will be expected in class
    • 10 minutes will be added to the beginning of each school day, and the last day of school is May 25

    Tulsa Public Schools

    • School is back in session from April 17.
    • The last day of school is May 31.

    Union Public Schools

    • School is back in session from April 16.
    • The last day of school is June 1.
    • The school day will be 25 minutes longer.
    • Late-start Fridays have been canceled for the remainder of the year.
    • Union's Extended Day Program will open at 7 a.m. and close at 6 p.m.
