• Standoff ends in arrest at east Tulsa QuikTrip

    TULSA, Okla. - Quick Facts:

    • Police arrested a man after a standoff at an east Tulsa QuikTrip early Tuesday morning.
    • Tulsa police told FOX23 the situation started began with a couple fighting inside the store at 31st and Highway 169.
    • Officers said John Alexander ran inside the women's restroom saying he had a gun.
    • After a 20-30 minute standoff, police used pepper balls under the bathroom door and Alexander came out.
    • Alexander did not have a gun and officers arrested him.
    • The woman had cuts and bruises from fighting with the Alexander.
    • The QuikTrip clerk was inside the store during the incident but was not injured.
