- Sunshine will kick off a new week
- Temperatures stay above average for most of the week
- Rain chances return for everyone by Thursday
The past week brought all kinds of weather to Green Country from grass fire risk then severe storms with tornado warnings then winter weather. This week is going to be calmer, but it will also be a busy one.
Sunny skies will be around for the first part of the week with southern winds. This will allow temperatures to climb into the upper-50s and even into the low-60s. The first part of the week is the BEST time to get outside and enjoy this great weather.
By Wednesday, the FOX23 Severe Weather Team will begin tracking a cold front pushing into Green Country that will take temperatures from the 60-degree mark into the upper-40s. Ahead of this front, there will be some rain chances. It looks like most of that rain will be very isolated and stick to the eastern and southeastern portions of the FOX23 viewing area.
Thursday’s rain chances will mostly be after lunch and will become more widespread into the evening and overnight hours going into Friday. Moisture starts to roll back into the area on Friday, allowing more people to see rain on Friday. Despite the cloudy and rainy conditions, temperatures will be back on the rise thanks to the southern winds.
